New Cartoon Vette Woodworking cutout
Here is my latest woodwork creation thank to Z06-JIM who let me use his avatar picture. Don't worry Jim I am making you a newer template with few changes and a little larger in size
I bought a scroll saw last week. Home depot was practically giving away a Dremel 16" so I bought it. I haven't used it yet, but thought that my first attempt might be a C5 emlem. What kind and thickness of wood do you recommend for a beginner? Do you print patterns from your PC and glue them to the wood? Any tips you could give me would be GREATLY appreciated.

I print out a picture that I want to use then I transfer it to very thin cardboard and make a template so that it can be used over and over. The cartoon vette that I done for this thread, I use 1/4 inch Baltic Birch plywood and use Delta blades that are reverse tooth, these blade provide a better cut.
Yo Zilla...long time no chat... ok, so I have already bought all 4 of your designs and now you come out with a new one? maybe I'll get you to do a custom one of my car for me
