Default Silly General Forum Question

For the few Months I have been a member I noticed my listing as Junior Member, then CF Member, Now CF Senior Member and I have 2 stars. How exactly does that change/get determined ? Just curious, I really couldnt find anything that discussed that in the various menus. No big deal really, Please dont feel obligated to answer unless its a quickie.

sounds right to me. I have been a member since 99 but I was in Germany for 3 years then Iraq for 6 months.. no post during this time. When I returned to the states I was still a Jr member and guys who joined in 04 were "super elite ultra guy" members haha.

What some folks do is respond to every post with a smiley face etc or a one or two word response like the ever popular "sweet".

That racks up the post real fast. I guess it's like stuffing the ballot box. I have been a member since Sept 1999 and I marvel at folks that have been members for less than a year and they have a boat load more posts than me.

I kind of suspected that might be the case. I just really post trying to be helpful where I can or to make a new member feel welcome as you guys have done for me. Thanks for the responses.

I believe in addition to number of posts it is the length of time you are a member. Some think it is very important to clutter up the list with nonsenseical resposnes to increase their number of posts.

Go hang out in the Politics, Religion & Controversy section for a while and see what happens to your post count......

What does this have to do with Z06's? Probably should have been posted in the help section.

Nothing really to add. I got my third star after about 500 posts. Forum use to keep your post count with your stars. Guys were getting above 20,000 posts about the time the ownership deleted the numbers.
