Floor mat slippage

I'm deciding between the Lloyd and Strato floor mats but neither one looks like the have the thousand little prongs on the bottom that help prevent slippage.
Both come with the holes to fit the hooks, but will they slip without the prongs?

With the curvature of the footwell in the C5. I would bet that they will stay in place. The mats fit pretty tight against the edges.
