One of the members of our club bought a '98 and looking at his rear end(the car's) his four tailpipes glowed with a red light. It looked awesome at night and it didn't look rice.Anyone know anything about this light system? It looked like a pipe within a pipe and I probably can't do it with my Borlas. I hope someone out there in corvette land can help me. BTW,just came back from Skyline Drive in Virginia for 3 days with my club and had a blast. 24 cars went down together and met 2 cars down there but it was soooo foggy we couldn't see much plus it rained today. Seen these type of exhaust tips on a few compact cars around here. Don't really think I would want it on my Vette, but everyone has different tastes. The tips are sold here at a few of the muffler shops.
first of all, as stated many many times, nothing wrong with driving a car in the rain. wont melt, gets dirty but can be washed. no biggie. its yours, enjoy it how u want. second thing, even though its yours, plz refrain from the ricer LED exhaust tips. unless u want to go full out and put the alteeza lights in it too. perhaps some rubber floor mats and seat covers with a big type R logo on them. oh and dont forget in order for the LED pipes to go with the car correctly , u have to get some mufflers that will tame the V8's sound and make it more farty to match the imports that those tasteless tips were made for. ok, i expressed my opinion, im done. but if u still want them, pep boys etc carries them. look in the SPORT COMPACT CAR SECTION.

my first reaction the other day was to reach for my gun, my second was to reach for my camera, neither of which were in my car when I needed them....a MY C5 with what had to be 24" spinners....did I mention, they were gold? still wiping the puke out of my car....
