I have this bra installed on my motorcycle and I know how great it is. Well I decided to put it on my new vert so I've been doing research. I found some people that only do this for a living(Maryland Performance Works/Proform), and they've done some friends of mine's M3 and ferrari, so I know they're good. Well, he quoted me $1,100 for the complete install, including the front, mirrors, wheel weels, rocker panels, everything. He gives a full lifetime warranty on the parts too, which is the only reason i'm considering this. What do you guys think... expensive, do it, what? Thanks, any imput is appreciated.

Seems expensive, I had my 50th done professionally and it cost me less than $500.00. (front bumper, front hood, mirrors, wells). 3M gives you 5 year film warranty. I think anything beyond $650.00 for C5 is too much.

My full kit (Z06), done professionally was $700 wholesale so $1000 isn't out of the ordinary. My kit also included rear piece in front of the trunk to protect from putting stuff in the trunk, door handle holes, headlights, and below outside gas filler area. I think that it kind of depends on who is doing it and how much of the car they are covering. I think it is a great product (there are a couple of good ones in addition to 3M) but after watching the installer, I'd recommend a professional, not DIY.

I had my front end done first then everything else a couple months
later. It all totaled out to $525 w/lifetime warranty! Of course, I'm in the
heartland. Things are definitely cheaper here than on the coasts....except
for automobiles!

If you pay $1100 then you should bend over, grab your ankles and spell run as fast as you can.

Had a quote of $900 for front, rockers and all wheel openings from Detroit area's only 3M installer. Bought a Speed Lingerei instead and saved $500.

Well I found out that for 1,100 bucks, I get the hood and bumper done, the lights, the mirrors, the wheels, the door edges, the back part of my trunk and rocker panels. With the lifetime warranty... if a rock chips anything, such as the bumper, this shop will pay to have the piece repainted and will put a new piece of protectant on FREE OF CHARGE! I'm still debating it...

Seems rather high to me. But, so is a paint job. I'd still check around and see if you can find a cheaper place - maybe outside your local area.

Might be a bit high, but I installed the whole kit myself and about 6 hours into the job, $1100 would have seemed like a bargin!

See how much he wants for the wheel wells, behind the wheel wells, rockers, lower doors and mirrors. Forget the bumper and hood they get little damage compared to the other spots.

a fool and his money are easily....umm, for $1,100 you should get the whole car done!

try $70 for a gm bra and have just as good coverage in the front.
