Default Good Vendor Experience

After recently becoming a member of the FRC, I needed to find a replacement top. Many forum members contacted me with attractive offers, but I was on a time contraint because of an impending trip. Starting surfing the web and came across Davies Corvette, New Port Richey, Fl. (727) 842-8000. They had my glass top for $599 + a $300 core charge on my old roof. Everything they did was on the money. Got the top on time when promised, the top was just what I wanted, and the fit and finish is right on. All hardware and weather stripping was on it. I have to pay the shipping back to them on the roof, (my cost ~ $40). If your weather stripping or frame are damaged, it could reduce your potential credit of $300. Some of the prices I was quoted out there for glass tops were This may not be the best deal, but I thought it was pretty good and wanted to pass it along.

It would have been cheaper to just latch the top in the first place silly

[QUOTE=CHRIS NJ C5]It would have been cheaper ...

I was waiting for you. Chris continues to reassure himself as being a high quality tuner by continually subjecting his customers to his low quality humor, ,and seeing how many of us return. We keep going back. He's that good.

Its great to hear about a good aftermarket experience. Here's a bit of advice to all CF members regarding a BAD ONE............. STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM RK SPORT when ordering aftermarket parts. They have absolutely the worst service imaginable!! Judging from my experience with them, its a wonder they are still in business. You've been warned..
