All of a sudden today when I pressed the key fob to unlock the door of my Z06, the seat moves all the way back and reclines (not like the East Seat entry option). It's a real pain because I have to adjust the seat back to drive. I checked the options menu thinking maybe I had the Easy Seat entry on but it is OFF.
What did I do wrong? Did I do something to the Key Fob or memory? What can I do to correct this.
One thing I noticed, if you have the memory seat option.
Look on the back of your key fob, you should have a number (1 or 2 maybe 3?). When you press the reciever to open to the door, it sets the seats and mirrors to that number/memory position.
Example: Open the door with reciever 2, the memory option adjusts for 'driver 2'.
Once, I thought my seat was all messed up because it didn't go anywhere near where I expected. Took me a while to figure out I accidentally picked up my wife's key. Her seat settings are quite a bit different.
Check the number on your key fob. Hopefully, it is that simple.
