Default Road Trip

You'll remember that I had mentioned that I was taking a road trip to Pigeon Forge TN with the vette. Wow, what a beautiful place! The smokies are incredible. The trip was 10 hours each way and the vette performed flawlessly and was very comfortable. This was my first long trip in the vette and I averaged 28.5 miles per gallon. You just can't beat that!

We took our '04 from Ct to Ga in August, also stopped to visit the Pigeon Forge area...you're right, its quite nice. C5 is a great ride for such a trip. We added a SpeedLingere nose bra for bug/rock protection, and it worked out perfectly. Wouldn't go on any long range trip without it now. Also we found that listening to a couple "books on tape" really helped to pass the time.
