Default Manifold question

Ok what is the difference or is there a difference between an ls6 intake manifold and a non-egr ls1 manifold? Didn’t all 01+ have the ls6 manifold?

ALL C5's from 2001 and newer have the LS6 intake. The LS6 intake is just a redesign of the LS1 version with larger runners which should give a tad more power and so they say better throttle response.

So let me make sure I understand this correctly, if I buy a 01 or 02 ls1 intake, I would be actually purchasing a ls6 manifold? No difference at all?

Correctamundo

The intakes on ALL Corvettes 2001 to 2004 are the same, Z06, Coupe & Convertible.

How much are these running now, and how easy are they to install?? I have a '98 and have been thinking about it.

Scoggen Dickey has the best price so far that I have found!

LS1 / LS6 2001 Z06 Intake Manifold
Price: $399.50
Part # 88894339
Brand: GM Performance Parts
SDPC Recommended Add-Ons

Description
This is the intake manifold used on the Z06 Corvette and all 2001 and newer LS1 engines. It has an increased plenum volume for more airflow to handle the power requirements of the LS6 engine. You will need a new air bleed pipe (12568478) and 2 plugs (12563325) to convert a '97-'00 LS1 to the new LS6 intake.
