Default Installing wheels with no sensors...car says I have flat tires.....

When you install wheels on your car with no sensors(and you had sensors before)..and the car keeps reading that your tires are flat...how do you get rid of that message?

Thanks in advance!

Ahmad

On 2001 and newer, a tech can program the EMT feature out of the system. 2000 and older, your only recourse is to hit "Reset" after you start the car.

Yeah, but I figured not too many C6 owners have run into this problem so I posted it here in hopes that more people would be familiar with it.

Thanks,
Ahmad

Also, can they reprogram it back INTO he system after the stock wheels are back on the car?

On the C6, I don't know - on a C5, yes, if it's 2001 and up. Curious as to why you're running without sensors - did you know you can use band clamps and epoxy to adapt them to most wheels?
