Replacing the stock stereo
If there is another thread on this, please point me in that direction.
I want to replace the bose system in my 97. I have already taken out the rears and they are 6.5". What are the front speakers? I have read they are 6.5" but then I also saw pics where there were two holes that looked to be about 6.5" and 3". Is that the case? Is it hard to get the door panels off or do you just need the tool to pop the clips out? Also, how much trouble is it to get the head unit out? Do the panels come off very easily? I have installed quite a few stereos but never on such a nice car so I am a bit nervous to start taking things apart but at the same time I don't want to pay someone else big $$$ to rip my car apart.

Don't know about the speakers since I haven't replaced them. But the head unit is easy to remove...
