Titanium Exhaust tips cleaner ?
Posted in Z06 forum asking what to use to clean the tips on titanium exhaust. Jeff Jordan was about the only real help. I know, think, the tips turn a tarnish blue ( I can live with that). Bought a set and looks like the guy used aluminum wheel spray cleaner to clean (possibly sprayed the stuff on hot or warm) and it f**ked the tips up. I've tried evrything mentioned and no luck. The best I have used is red rubbing compound. The compound brought it back pretty good.Any other ideas would be appreciated.Thanks for your help.Save the Wave.>George

Did you check with the folks over in the Car Care Products section of the Forum? Several very knowledgeable people hang out there. Good luck with the tips.
