No idea who has the best price but you can check the supporting vendors here on the Forum to get an idea of cost. I have two friends who installed the Blackwing and both think it's a good mod. Good luck with your first mod. There will be more to come.

The Blackwing is a worthwhile addition - any of the air bridges in my opinion are cosmetic improvements only.
Do a little checking from all the vendors alone the left hand side of the page - prices will vary, but by the time you figure in all the different shipping charges - I'll bet they'll all be within a few $$$ of each other!

An amazing path you've chosen. And you're proceeding properly, Grasshopper, by posting questions here.
BW was my 1st mod. Same weekend as the GHL and the X-Pipe. I've since ditched that x-pipe in favor of [see sig]. (I've done all my mods w/ my own 2 hands, so I've prolly saved $1000- $1500 in labor.)
It's a slippery slope but either your wallet or your wife will keep you grounded. (yea, right )
Some of the most evil vettes I've ever seen had the BW as the basic intake. For an average of $220 shipped and your labor, it's not a bad way to start.
Search the Forum and www.ls1howto.com for install instructions. Takes 15 minutes
It looks like it may just come down to stock and shipping prices for you. I didn't bother with the airbridge when I did mine. It didn't meet my price/performance ratio when I looked into it. Opinions will differ. Good luck with the purchase. The install intructions in the Techtips section here on the forum worked for my install on my 97. Really a pretty straightforward install once you get started.
I just ordered it. Thanks to everyone for all the information.
Talon, thanks for the links and the research. I ordered it from WCC. The adapter comes with it.
I also ordered an HP hood seal ... so that's good for another 10 HP or so? I figure with the Blackwing and hood seal I'll darn near have a Z-06 for $250.
Hopefully the stock air box comes out easily. The installation looks pretty simple.

No problem Gary. While I'm unemployed the bank account is sure suffering, but the forum community is benefitting greatly from all this spare time I seem to have
I like to provide links when I come across them only because some of the vendors sites are hard to find, or difficult to navigate. If I've been there looking for something I generally save the link for just such an occasion.
The install is quite easy as far as installs go. It looks a lot harder than it is and it breezes right thru once you get started. Just watch out for those nasty straps that the factory uses to hold the air bridge assembly on. You might want to consider getting some hose clamp style worm gears just in case.
