She is rightfully extremely proud of her Vette as it is a great looking car and any scratch regardless of cause can easily be understood as upsetting.
She is both an avid Corvette enthusiast and a class act. She didn't "plow into the back" of anyone. She had a minor accident that could happen to anyone.
I've been driving for over 40 years and had a few of those myself.

Thats a bummer. Don't sweat it, I got a scuff mark on my front bumper the first day I got the car. I got stuck behind a Dakota pickup truck on the freeway when a plastic roll of some sort flew out of the bed and hit my car. At least the first bruise is out of the way. I still get steamed when I think about ...

Personally I think this getting way out of hand. Maybe we can just all cool it and wish her luck to get her fixed. Then when it is she can let us know. That is what this thread is about. Not what half the crap in here is.
