I'm not really sure of your intent but your posts are not winning you many friends around here. Daphne is one of the most popular ladies on the forum, she has many, many friends here (including me) and is certainly one of the most enthusiastic Corvette owners of either sex.

She is rightfully extremely proud of her Vette as it is a great looking car and any scratch regardless of cause can easily be understood as upsetting.

She is both an avid Corvette enthusiast and a class act. She didn't "plow into the back" of anyone. She had a minor accident that could happen to anyone.

I've been driving for over 40 years and had a few of those myself.

Care to make an arrogant, pompous, righteous comment about that?

Default Bowtie Diva

Thats a bummer. Don't sweat it, I got a scuff mark on my front bumper the first day I got the car. I got stuck behind a Dakota pickup truck on the freeway when a plastic roll of some sort flew out of the bed and hit my car. At least the first bruise is out of the way. I still get steamed when I think about ...

You people all go to the same driving school? Sorry. Couldn't resist. I read your post as "As I was reading your thread, I rolled into ..."

I only totalled my boss' Vette in 1990 ... the day after my 18th birthday! "Anything worth doing is worth doing well".

I am sure when the repair is complete, you will be the only one to know what happened. Good luck!!

I X L R 8, you are giving engineers a bad name. And you are the only truly arrogant Corvette owner I've seen on this forum. Daph is much more worth of calling herself a Vette driver.

Personally I think this getting way out of hand. Maybe we can just all cool it and wish her luck to get her fixed. Then when it is she can let us know. That is what this thread is about. Not what half the crap in here is. Good luck with the vet and I hope everything is just how she was when you get her back
