I would never damage someone else's car because they chipped the paint on my car. That would make me as much of a low-life as they are. Now mind you, I never take the Vette to a restaurant unless it's protected on both sides by Corvettes. I wouldn't be caught dead driving it to a home improvement center or mega-discount store. When I do drive the car, I park responsibly and would never park diagonally (That's for the rice mobiles with the tacky paint and wings). I have a different approach. I've always carried a valve-stem remover in my Vettes. If anyone ever does damage my paint, I'm not going to damage their car, but I'm going to make sure I inconvenience them to the max. I'm not just going to loosen the valve stem in one tire, because they can just mount the spare and be on their way. I'm going to loosen the valve-stems in two of their tires so when they come back they've got a whole day to reflect on exactly what they could have done that would have solicited this sort of response.
I would have left them something to remember me by, or better yet, stuck around for a little while until they came out.
Better yet, keep a tube of black windshield sealant handy, and give them 3 hours of cleaning to remind them not to by an azzhole next time.

In my younger days when I was about 22 some idiot parked 4 inches from my passenger side door, and I parked really far out too. I got mad and keyed his car. The next day I got a call from the Police. Somebody turned me in. I had to pay $350 to repaint the side of the guys car , but no charges were filed. Needless to say, I try to control my temper now. That wasn't even the Vette, it was my Grand Prix. Park too close to my Vette and I may just have to strike again.
