Default Mechanical and physical difference?

As I am new to Corvettes, could someone please either post here the differences or a link to a site that lists the differences between a standard C5 and a Z06? Thanks in advance. :o

The "Corvette Black Book" is a guide to all corvettes but as far as some of the main differences is the motor in Z06 is the LS6 instead of LS1. HP is 385 in a 2001 Z and 405 in 2001, 2002 versus 350 in the standard corvette. The Z only came with a 6 speed while the auto and 6speed is available in the standard. The Zhas bigger tires and wheels, a more performance oriented suspension more agressive gearing in the 6 speed, the Z is lighter and since 2001 is the only hardtop, with no Z convertibles.
This is just a few of the differences, they are all C5's the Z is another version from the "General'.

More aggressive suspension, with no selective ride control available.
- Larger sway bars

No fog lights, mesh covered air intakes to help feed the engine compartment in the same location as the fog lights.
LS6 motor, 385HP in 2001 and 405 from 2002-04.
- Stiffer valve springs
- Sodium filled valve stems
- More aggressive cam shaft

But no HUD in 2001 Z06's. It was standard on 2002 and onwards by popular demand.

[QUOTE=GOOSE JR.]The "Corvette Black Book" is a guide to all corvettes "

If you are in to Corvettes you need to acquire the Black Book. Available through the museum, Barnes & Noble, etc. A new edition is published each year. Provides all the trivial stuff you want to know and more.

You can get a year by year description of the differences. Buy it.
