I am new here.
I will be shopping for a Vette this winter and would like to know what the diff. between C5's and ZO6's are. Any suspension, horsepower, looks???
Thanks
P.S
Is the height of the factory suspension adjustable? I have been reading other peoples posts and I dont hear anybody talking about lowering springs, just tighting bolts to lower ride height.

Welcome to the forum! :party
The Z06 is a stripped down "race" version of the C5.
The power seat does not have all the adjustments along with the above listed differences.
The Z also has rear brake cooling ducts.
In the engine: the compression ratio is higher in the Z and has different fuel rails.
That's all I can think of without repeating the others.
Oh yeah ... the coupe (C5) is offered in more colors than the Z.

Better shocks and sway bars on Z06. Different differential and transmission in the Z06. More HP in the Z06 (up to 60 depending on the year), non-runflat tires on the Z06 with no pressure sensors, only 6-speed available in the Z06, fixed roof (no targa) on the Z06, Titanium exhaust on the Z06. Probably more differences, just can't think of them right now.

In addition to the technical information provided,
The "Z06" is a model designation within the Corvette lineup, alongside the "Coupe" and "Convertible". It replaced (built on) the "Hardtop" model. They're all C5s.
If the C6 ends up using the Z06 name, I think more people will begin correctly referring to the C5 Z06 as just that, the C5 Z06.
