Lots of discussion on this issue. You can do a search on "BSM's" and get a multitude of opinions. Some like, some don't. Some had them on their C5's and removed them. Pretty much what you like. You'll also find instructions on how to remove if you chose to go that route.....pretty simple. Good luck

My 2000 vette did not have the B.S.M.'s and I loved the look. I bought my 2004 Z06 which has the B.S.M.'s and now I love that look. Plus it protects my doors. If you get the car with the B.S.M.'s, I would wait a while before you remove them to see if they grow on you. I also think it give the car a classier look.
Just my .02 cents worth.

Every time we have a vote on these we find that we are a divided country

Then we have to make sure we didn't miss any votes.

Long live the noBSM look

The choice to keep them on or take them off is really up to you. I like the looks of the BSMs, but many do not. It does tend to protect the side from door dings. If you want to take them off, it is easy to do. A hair dryer and some strong fishing line will do the trick.

Well, if everyone did a forum search on every topic(which I think most have been covered in this forum) there would be no reason to have a forum as noone would be participating. You would just have a research board and not a talking forum.

I alway park car away from other cars. When I come out of wherever I am there are cars parked next to mine. I know my BSMS have saved my doors from many dings. That is why I have not removed my BSMS. To each his own.

How do you think the BSM's would look like chrome or an accent color?

I personally like mine.
