Anyone know if the recalls anounced today have any effect on us?

I did not even know there were any recalls done today,man I hope they don't have anything to with corvettes-gettin kinda sick of looking at my peics of crap dealership,someone please post I am curios now?

The only recall that I have seen recently is for 2005 Cadilacs and some C6's. If I remember correctly, it had something to do with either the brake lines or fuel line being to close to the exhaust system or something that would wear through the line.

I've heard that there is a C6/XLR Recall for brake lines!

That's the only one I have heard about too. Sure hope there are not any others out there for mine. Just had the column lock one done.

The one on the wire today was 1.5 M cars, ~1M of them SUVs but the Reuters story didn't indicate what the rest were.

DETROIT (Reuters) - General Motors Corp. GM.N has recalled nearly 1.5 million vehicles in North America, including 946,817 sport utility vehicles, to fix tail lights that could loosen and flicker, the automaker said on Thursday.
