Default I tried to be different and it didn't work out.

Everyone seemed to be going with red calipers so I decided to paint the calipers on my black coupe silver. Being different isn't always good. They look like crap! My question is do you think I can just paint over the silver with a different color? I was thinking of going with red. Does anyone have pictures of yellow calipers on a black coupe? Thanks for your help.

I'd think that you could paint right over the silver!

Just did mine in red (on a black coupe) but I REALLY thought about yellow. I think that would look good, but here's red on a black coupe.

Sorry you're not happy with the result. I'm betting you can just rough em up with scotchbright or sandpaper, clean 'em up and just paint over them.

If it was a good paint job , you can paint over it, if it was a bad job (runs, wrinkles and lifting) you better strip and start over,,,(the paint that is)

You should be able to repaint. Just scuff them up and paint away. You may want to check with ICEBURGH here on the forum. Not sure, but he may have yellow calipers on his car.
