Default Patriotic paint job...

Hope this isn't a duplicate but at the local speedway, there was a vette here in Charlotte, NC.
Patriotic idea, just feel he ruined a beautiful car. Perhaps he should use canvas instead.

I wasn't there, just saw the pics.

I like that he had the courage and conviction to show his/her pride. I am chosing a little differnt theme. I will probably have a rippling flag painted from the nose to tail or a bald eagle on the hood with the swept back wings down the side turning into an American flag.

RedWolf,

I agree. It's a very nice job and very patriotic. I just couldn't do that to a car as cool as the vette. I would have rather seen that on any other vehicle.
Perhaps being in the bodyshop business, I feel that doing something like that to a vette is almost sacriligious.

I would not put paint over a beautiful ride like yours either.

Doesnt look like he did anything wrong....his car...his way.....
Makes a nice statement. Nothing sacriligious about someone showing his feelings. Real shame too many others cant and wont!!!
Nice Car!!!!!!!

Cool car. I would not want to do the same to mine, but I do respect his right to create a very patriotic car.

...Let me put my flame suite on...ok
I think the paint job is out of this world and I sure the detail is great. But my honest opinion is that many people use this theme to get a so called charity votes .
I am all for making your car stand out in a crowd..... but unless you were effected by 9/11 by being in the buildings or have a loved one in one of the buildings or planes I dont fell this is right.
just my opinion

really nice thought but was not executed well. The cartoony drips look bad IMHO. I agree with Iceburgh to an extent and hope it was not used in vain. I kinda doubt it was because thats an expensive way to get on a judges good side. Oh well, might have served better on the inside of the hood.
