Torque accuracy
I was torqueing my wheels when I realized that I do not know if my torque wrench is accurate! The wrench is a Craftsman "click" type 1/2" drive with 150ft/lbs max capacity and is twenty years old. Who knows how to check the accuracy of a torque wrench. Sears says that they cannot do it. Am I driving my C5 around with the wrong torque on my wheel lug nuts?

Best way to do it is borrow another one of more recent vintage and check yours against that one.
If you don't know someone with a torque wrench go to a Discount Tire place. They use torque wrenches on the lugs in my experience. I'm sure they would help you check yours against theirs.

I have a torque wrench that I bought in the early 70s that these guys: http://www.torquerepair.com repaired and recalibrated for me. The strange thing to me was the wrench was still within tolerance when it was delivered there for repair after 30 years.
