Default Thunder Racing CLB install question

I'm installing the Thunder Racing CLB on my '04 Z06. According to the instructions, there should be a 4 wire harness next to a big yellow connector. The 4 wire harness should have purple, orange, black, and green wires. The harness connector on my car has the correct form factor, but I have a white wire instead of orange. I have emailed Jim at LS1HowTo.com, but I would like to get my car back together as soon as possible. Has anyone else run into this issue? If so, is this the correct connector?

There's only one that fits....Use it.

When you plug into the lighter socket and gear the "click," it's done.

I agree. There's only one that is the same. And then you'll have piece of mind.

Unless they changed the wire colors, it should be as described in the instructions. Mine is I know. The connector is right next to the big yellow one for the air bag, on the left side.

I installed the same unit and it took me a few minutes to get the right plug. I believe the one you are looking at is outboard, uh, to the left, of the plug you are looking for.
Dig a little deeper, the one RIGHT NEXT TO the yellow plug is the one you are looking for. As I recall it was on the right edge of the yellow plug. It helps to look up from underneath if you are that flexible.

I installed same on my 04 and the wire colors matched the instructions. Can't imagine yours would be different.

Thanks for all of the responses.

As it turns out, I had the right connector. Since I was too lazy to stick my big head under the dash and look up, I was looking at the connector from above. As it turned out, the male end of the connector (the wires from which run to the steering column) does indeed have the purple/orange/black/green wires. The female side (from which the wires run to the BCM) uses a white wire in place of the orange.

Total install time (excluding time typing this post) was about 15 minutes and the CLB seems to work as advertised.
