the Ti system is the quieter of the bunch. i heard its a tad louder than a stock exhaust, and flows a little better and weighs less. if you want a loud exhaust your going to have to look at all the aftermarket systems available.
that being said... if you want to ditch the Tis let me know! ive been looking for a set. i also have a set of borla stingers for sale!

I heard alot of people say that changing to the Ti system was a waste of time and money. For a few hundred more you can get a system that pops.
The ZO6 Ti's are great on a modded car but very quiet on a stock ride. They are even quieter on a std C5 then a ZO6.....
They'll sound like heaven with a set of headers, high flow cats, and an x-pipe. That's what I have and I couldn't be happier. When I first put my ti's on, they weren't that much louder than stock as I remember. There was an improvement at WOT though. Now, they sound awesome. I think if I had an aftermarket exhaust with my mods, it would be waaaaay too loud for me.

here... on CorvetteForum ???
thing is that people upgrading to the Z06 titaniums are not wanting something that really "pops".
nice part of the Z06 titaniums is that they sound lounder/deeper from the outside... but keep the interior relatively quiet.... oh; and there's no resonance.
I've put over 40,000 miles on my FRC since I've put the Ti's on and the sound keeps getting better. At first it was just a touch louder at idle and cruise and noticeably louder at full throttle. Deeper sound also. Now it purrs and when you open it up it is just a much louder version of that purr. For me it is really nice. Go with what you like, listen to a couple different exhausts. It's your cash and your ears. Have fun, Guy
A friend of mine has an A4. And he doesn't notice much diference. I have a 6 speed and am waiting on a set of Ti's right now. Which will sound like the Z06 which is fine by me.
I replaced my exhaust on my 04 with Ti exhaust and i love them. Just loud enough for me and they also look good. Tips line up perfect and you never have to worry about them moving and being uneven. Mine seem to be getting a little louder but it could be just my imagination. My $400 was a good investment.
I just installed the ti system. I found it
pleasingly perfect. The exhaust had about
500 miles when purchased and I know that it
is only gling to get better with time. I sure
the lack of pre-cats has enhanced the growl.
Between this mod and getting rid of the runflats,
I can actually hear my wife while cruising.
Doah..................

I installed zo6 ti on my 04 also. At first I did not notice too much except at idle and wot. When you decelerate at about 5500 through a turn and then crank back on her it sounds like a movie. Helps with the top off the coupe. As Mike Mercury said, no resonance. (Thanks for selling me these vetdude)
(These are an awesome piece of technology which can be had for the price of a decent pair of cowboy boots! Still in Texas and I evaluate things by that measure. The vette cost 38 pairs of very good cowboy boots, which makes it a bargain, too. )

One of the reasons its not as loud as you thought it would be is because you have Pre Cats in your exhaust system. The Z06 does not. That being said......when you get around to putting headers on and x-pipe with the high flows it will be very noticable. I was a little disapointed as well at first when my car was un-modded but after driving it around for a while it grew on me and was even better when it finally got modded.

Obviously youve switched to the wrong exhaust system if you can hear your wife while crusing. It would seem running a system with no mufflers at all would be a better alternative
