Premium sound system

I would like to replace the radio/cassette/CD system that came on my 01 C5 with a premium system that has satellite capability.

Does anyone have any suggestions / web sites, etc.

A huge disappointment for me was the stock audio system of my Corvette. The Monsoon system in my wife's '01 Buick Regal GS outperforms mine by far.

Just yesterday we were out in the Vette with one of her favorite songs playing and she asked if I could turn the bass up. It was in the maximum position already...she was not impressed but was too kind to say so...

I agree that it is spectacularly mediocre, but I have the opposite issue. The Bose system in my '04 seems bass heavy. I normally keep the bass at 11 o'clock, and the treble at 1 o'clock. It could actually use more highs, but turning up the treble is pointless, as the highs that come out of the speakers are dirty.
