Default Wheel/Rotor Pics!

Finally got rid of the runflats. Got the chrome Motorsports 18x9.5 Front with 265x35 Khumo MX and 18x10.5 Rear with 295X35 rubber. Had the good Erridaspeed rotors and Hawk HPS pads put on at the same time.

I have MUCH better traction when the Khumo's are heated up than with the EMT's. And the cornering is much more radical in the twisties now. Of course the Hothckis sways also help.

Here's some pics

Nice ride! I think it would look nicer and handle better lowered.
I have a similiar setup to yours with my gears and exhaust done by Andy.

Looks good Mac. Let me understand correctly: You got larger from rims (stock is 17) and larger rear rotors correct?

The spacing between the rear rotors and inside of the wheel looks good (I'm bothered by the space between the stock rotors and wheels). For some reason however, the rear pads seem to only cover about half the depth of the rotors (that could be the camera, but I think I see a pattern on the rotors)! Do you think you will have any trouble keeping the rust off of the inside half of the rear rotors?

Macinamouth,

KOOL pics for sure ! I really like the wheel, tires, and brake upgrades. . . . real fine. I've done similar upgrades to my "1999 C5" as well.

On the front, I'm running Xtreme Motorsport wheels (18x9.5), Michelin Polite Sports tires 265-35X18, and "Calipers and Rotors - (painted Nassau Blue to match the body paint) from "Mov-it" (a company here in Germany that makes brake systems for Porsche and Corvette).

On the rear again, Wheels from Xtreme Motor Sports (18x11), Michelin Polite Sports tires 295-35X18, Erridaspeed Rotors, with stock calipers - (painted Nassau Blue to match the body paint).

.

Thanks for sharing your pics . . . . again really KOOL !

Hey Yellow, his car is lowered(on stock bolts). He has the F55(magnetic ride) suspension and it does not go lower on the stock bolts. I know because I have the same issue.....
