Yes, the gray ones are just plastic covers that screw on over plain nuts.
You should be able to find chrome lug nuts locally very easily. Most any auto parts store or tire store should have them in stock.
The size you need is M12x1.5 with a cone seat. This is a very common size for lugnuts used on many cars.
I picked mine up for 79 cents each at the local tire store when I had the tires mounted on my Iforged wheels. They had a huge bin of them, these should be a very easy item to find.

You can also check with your local Chevy parts Dept. I purchased a nice set of polished stainless steel lugs from chevy when I changed over to Y2K wheels. They are expensive but worth every penny and look great!!!!
I have a 2002 and it came with the SS ones. The dealer sells them because they had to replace some of them after they used their air guns on them. When you get them and have work done to the wheels let them know thay they have to re and re them manually. Or else they will ruin them with the air guns.

I got a set of chrome lug nuts from Xtreme Motorsports when I bought my wheels. Came with a locking nut too. Cost was about $20. If you don't want to go with the chrome, I bought a set of black lug nut covers from my dealer - sure looks better than the grey ones.
