Driving in light traffic today in Chicago, sun is setting and it's about 40 degrees out. I decided to change lanes and accelerated in normal fashion (for warm weather) and the back end of my Z slid out. Before I could even correct for it the AH system had already done it's job.
All in all not a bad car! A bit dicey in the cooler/cold weather, eh?!
Sure is fun to turn 'er off and run in Comp Mode!
I agree, competition mode is fun... and for sure I have driven hard enough to set off AH on purpose, but it's cool when it does it job when you aren't thinking about things like how cold your tires are at the moment.
I had cars all around me, and it might have looked like I was showing off, spinning them and breaking loose on a lane change, but it was actually a mistake.
I did about the same thing yesterday. On my 1-2 upshift I accelerated a little too hard and the tail started to walk. I corrected myself, but AH went, well, active. Not sure which one of us kept me out of the ditch, probably both. Glad I have it! MUCH better than the crappy TCS on F-bodies.
