Emergency Brake Retainer Spring
Last weekend, I pulled off my Baer vanity rotors to be replaced by Napa $25 throw aways for the Las Vegas HPDE. When I pulled off my rear rotors, the spring that holds on my rear emergency brake shoes came off. Now I can't get it back on no matter how hard I try. So I pulled them off and left them off for the weekend. I couldn't spend too much time or I would have been stuck in Friday evening traffic leaving LA. No thank you.
My two questions are;
1) Do I have to have the spring on there? and,
2) If I do, then how do I get it back on without throwing tools in a fit of rage?
