I assume you have the Electrochromatic mirror, be sure to order the correct one.
I bought one a year ago and it would not fit as the instructions say it should. I had to sand it down a little.

Oh, and be weary of the black plastic block that you adhear to your rear view mirror. It can break.

I tried a couple of different mounting techniques and settled on what's called a sticky pad which simply sits on the dash and the radar detector sits on it. Costs 4.99 at best buy. Work's great.

IF you get nailed in a good trap a detector that's mounted under the mirror is next to impossible to stash.
Means you're guarenteed a ticket no matter how good of a plea you cop (no pun intended
) with the cop once he sees the thing. 
Just something to consider.

I have the Great Lakes Trophys' mirror mount, and thanks to my good friend AZC5 - I have a neat little machined block of aluminum instead of that black extruded plastic one. The mount is tight and rattle free, but most importantly it places the detector in it's most effective postion.
