I would keep on looking There are lots of used C5/z06s out there. That price is about right for the year and miles. Offer him a $32,900 and see what they say.

A friend of mine just bought a new 04 Z06CE from the dealer with 35 miles on it for $37k!!!!
There are a few more of those available elsewhere in the country if you look around I'm sure you'll find one and get it for under 40k.
