Default How much were your tires?

I need to replace my runflats. I'm looking at the OEM Goodyears, the Firestone Firehawk runflats and the Michelin Pilot Sport AS Zero Pressures. Who has bought any of these recently, how much, and where did you buy/install them?

THANKS!!!!

Good luck with the purchase!

$1600 for GY EMT I wanted to stay original and we take a lot of trips up to 400 miles.
Bad thing I had to wait 3 weeks for the local dealer to get them. Seems GY was back ordered. My son-in-law (Z06) was told the same thing so he opted for the Michelins.

GrayC5, interesting article.
I'm getting Michelin PS ZP when the time comes. Still plenty of tread on the factory tires.

So far..... Mine are still FREE! Minus the installation fee?
Which cost me $107!

Y'all got to love Wally World!

For the rest of the story!

I looked at the places that where suggested, and others, including local shops. I found that I could get what I wanted as cheap as anywhere at Wally World!

Being a special order deal, I just placed the order online! You order them and they are shipped to you local store. During the order they ask for a CC#, But states that your card will not be charged. You will pay when you pick them up.

Anyway the tires arrive, I get a call, and go to pick them up. I get there see them setting there , and tell the guy I am here to pick up that set of tires. So he gets a couple women to come over as he does not know how to deal with this? (guess it was the first time any of them had delt with a order like this?) They him haw around for a few min. scan the tires, start reading the ship info on them, mumbeliing to each other the whole time. LOL! Then they all turn to me and ask did you allready pay for these?

Seeing where this was going, I just replied that I had to give a CC# to place the order.

OHHH they all say, guess you are good to go then!
Me and the guy carry them out, throw them in the back of my Jeep and I leave....

No reciept, no money trades hands? NAADAA!! NOTHING!!

Has been about 5 months now, and all is still the same!

** Not all will get the deal I got!

*** But, you never know.

God Speed! Doc....

Isn't that basically stealing, since you know you've not paid for them?

That is wrong and I sure wouldn't be to proud about it. And I for sure would not have bragged about it here on the forum.

Honesty DID prevail. He in fact told them he had to give a cc# to place the order. Is it his fault they didn't know what was going on, or was it his place to tell them? What if he did pay for them and then found out they charged his card. Do you think they would easily give him his refund? I say good for him! I wished we could all get a great discount like that. I am glad I know someone in the tire business and that helps keep the cost down a little. Plus I know I will be getting good service.
