Took my '03 BBB vert in to have the facia repaired after the flying plywood incident. Took it in Last Thursday and got it back the following Wednesday. Seemed like forever.
Anyway has anyone had just the facia painted or any other single body panel?
The reason I ask is the the black seems a whole lot blacker than the hood and fenders (seem to be grayed out a little) is this because I have 10 Coats of Zaino on it?
Any opinions??

Your other panels could have changed colors a bit over time. A good body shop should have looked at the paint close and if needed, blended in the panels. I'd take it back and see what they say. Good luck.
The paint should be the same as the rest of your car. A good body shop would have had the paint mixed to match the existing color. With the base coat clear coat system, I understand black is now one of the more difficult colors to match.
Your baby should be perfect when you bring it home. If not the painter didn't know what he was doing, they should match the color exactly as it was. The body shops I have dealt with use a scanner to get the blend just right, and then a good body guy will sand, polish and buff the car until it's perfect.
