Default Price for leftover C5

What would be a resonable price, excluding rebates for a leftover C5, MSRP $48,210?

Thanks

Reasonable would depend on who's buying and who's selling but I got 8K off of my 04 in late april. I was happy with the deal and the car was exactly what I wanted, colors, accessories, etc. Good luck!

Picked up an 04 mag red vert heads up package, chrome Sticker was $55,680 land up paying $46. Thought it was a good deal for a vert with stuff. coupes could have been $5 to 6 less. Cant be too picky with color choices dissapearing fast. I'm happy and thats what counts

You should be able to get $6-7K off the price excluding rebates. I've seen some advertised with rebate for about $10K off.

Got mine in middle May for 11K off sticker (55K list / 44K + taxes and stuff).. This was when there were a lot of C5's out there and an abundance of inventory at the dealerships... May not be quite as heavy on the deals, now..

Anyway - I'd consider anything 8k-12k off sticker a pretty good deal..

I think you may have missed the really big rebates and discounts that were around in April and May. Then 10K off was the norm. Now that there are fewer C5s around the dealers seem to be trying to recoup a few dollars. I hope I'm wrong, for your sake. I got mine in May and have been smiling ever since...

I got the same deal as JCR Indy last March. That was without any GM special finance rate though. Those eat up a few thousand $$ worth of discounts. If I remember right the discounts at their peak went from 9 to 11K off depending on the MSRP. I would guess that the price you listed would have been about 10K off. Don't forget that there are still plenty of Z16s around and I think that they still have those discounts. Be willing to travel. $100 one way car rental or cheap flight can save you many thousands, unless of course you make a few thousand a day, then you belong on Lamboforum anyway. Good luck, Tom
