Sound Proofing
Has anyone tried the Ayrfoil product? Its nothing more than bubble wrap with Aluminum foil on both sides. No adhesive but I trhink a spray on adhesive word work OK.

Where is the best place for this stuff, not wanting to take out the seats and such. Rear and behind the seats?

well its my understanding whereever you dont dampen it will become the next problem
meaning you mute one spot the unmuted spot will stand out
take the time and do it right and all at once
the seats only have 4 bolts holding them in

understand
what i mean is the areas that you do not dampen (insulate) will be noticably louder than they were before because theres no insulation on those spots so you hear the spots you dont insulate
for instance say you did the rear of the car but didnt do the front
you wont hear any noise in the back because it is muted from insulating so basically you quiet down the rear area but because you didnt do the front the road noise is more audible in the front due to no insulation so all you really did was move the road noise from the front to the back
its like building a sound proof wall and leaving a hole in it on the end it will be quiet along the soundproof wall until you get to the end where the hole is because that hole allows the noise to come through
now do you understand what im talking about
