Default clutch

my clutch on my 97 seems to be a little sloppy..... it's "loose" to about 1/2 way depressed..... it's not slipping or anything but is it time to start thinking about a new clutch????

I have the same exact problem, but mine is an 04 with only 6100 miles. Just curious myself.

Before getting into clutch replacement (it's a lot of labor), I'd try having the clutch hydraulic system bled (just like you do with brakes). It is possible that there is air in the system, or, on the '97, that the fluid is contaminated.

In any event, it is a whole lot cheaper first step.

Just MHO.
