Just installed the auto dimming mirror, why does it have 7 wires of only 4 are used, what are the other 3 for?

They go to the driver's door control module and then to the auto dimming side mirror.

Darn, and I was going to guess that they use the same mirror casing for the auto dimming mirror, and the version that has an integrated thermometer, and the other 3 connectors would go to the remote temp sensor

They must do something the pins are there in the mirror also.
