Default Option Code Locations Class 101

I'm new here and I'm too lazy to search for the thread. Please forgive....
The owner of a 99 vert that I’m interested in (300 miles away) can’t make out the option code numbers in the glove box. Probably smeared away by the owners’ manual. Is there another place they can get those codes for me on the vehicle so I know exactly how it’s equipped? (no original sticker or build sheet either)
Thanks.

Your best bet maybe to send a PM to Sponge vette with your VIN and he could look it up for you

In addition to SpongeVette, you can purchase a duplicate of the original window sticker and buildsheet from the Corvette Museum.

If time is an issue, might be able to get a local dealer to print out the RPO information and the service history with the VIN.

A dealer could print them out based on the VIN or Sponge Vette may do this for him. Good luck with the Vette.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they moved the sticker to the glove box until 2000 MY. They should be on the inside of the left storage well cover on a '99.

Good point, when he said smeared I assumed he found the label and just couldn't read it. I never even thought about the cover...that's where they are on my '97.

I've never seen them post the Birth Date anywhere in the vehicle, i'd be suprised if your Built date was has you posted. Post the last 8 digits of your vin# and I'll check for you.

For some reason, I thought some one posted that their built date was in the glove box.
