Honeymoon was over after a few months of playing with it all the time, but once a week or so I'll check the mpg, tire pressure, and sometimes the oil life %.
Funny thing before I had it I never thought of any of it, but having had one I can now think of a whole bunch more readings I'd like to be able to pull from it... tire temp, interior noise levels, g forces, a stop watch like function that worked on a 1/4 mile odometer instead of time, life remaining counters for air cleaners, a/f readings, virtual curb feeler for the front bumber, and on and on
I keep it in instant MPG and use it like I would use a vacuum gauge.
Too bad it doesn't store date of oil change; last wash and wax; duration/details of last ten trips; tire temp; inside cabin temp; inoperable lighting; weight of passenger; pulse and heart monitor; dollars per mile.
Most of the time I leave it on oil temperature, but on every drive I always toggle through the entire display to check my tire pressures, trans fluid temp, coolant temp, oil pressure and average MPG. I wish there were some way to get it to display three different things at once (perhaps having them automatically change the display every few seconds between those three choices)

I first set it to water temp. When I get the temp up I switch to oil temp. Then I check the tire pressures. Then I switch it to instant MPG. Then I mash the gas & coast. I love it when it says 99MPG.
