I see a lot of threads on tires. I haven't bought a set of tires yet, so I don't know anything. I think it would be nice if a spread sheet were created by the Seniors Members of the forum that would reference the most popular tires. Likes, dislike wear, handling, mileage, driving style, cost and maybe a few more thing I can't think of. I look at the data sheets from Discount Tires and it's all starts to run together. Personel experience counts a lot more than Manufactures Data Sheets. Than it can be posted in the help section and refer to in the future. Just an idea???????????
Sounds like a good idea, but I think you would get so many different opinions that it would be a very complicated spreadsheet.
IMHO the best feedback is from those who have experience in driving on serveral different tires, otherwise, whatever they have selected to replace the GY Run-craps is the best thing since white-bread.
Don't buy Nitto NT555, I blame them for my last weeks hydroplanning incident which totalled my car, figured I would save a buck since I was trading in car in a year anyway, what a mistake.

I feel your pain! Although we love our Nitto NT-555RII Extreme R Road Race Tires, they are not meant for driving in the rain.

As bad as I feel about your car, it wasn't the tires bro. Sometimes you've got to look in the mirror and face the facts
