Default Drivers Seat Question

Hi
I have an 04 CE Coupe. Lately I have been noticing that the outboard side of the bottom of the driver’s seat feels like it is tilting towards the door. So when I drive I feel like I am leaning to the left. I brought it to the dealer and they said it was normal. I then took out the seat and looked underneath for any kind of frame or seat cushion failure. Everything looks good. Does anyone else have this issue or should I try another dealer, or does anyone know a fix
Thanks In Advance
Tom

Mine feels like that too, but it makes it easier for my short legs to get to the clutch!! Good Luck!!

Same problem with a 02 vert that I bought a few months ago. I just decided to live with it. Did the seat tilt when it was new?

Mine does the same thing. I figured that the previous owner was an extrememly heavy person and had worn the seat foam out by getting in and out of the car. Maybe this is just another thing common to the C5. Don't know. Doesn't really bother me too much, got used to it.

Mine is the same. Wonder if you can bolster it some by adding to it.

Regards.

We are all on the same page - my 99 does this. I read somehwere else on the forum (not sure where) that there are little plastic ***** that are in the frame work or something. These get stuck/broken and you have wobbel / tilting seat problems. Just glanced through it, but sounded like my / our problems. I'll see if I can find it.

It deals with rocking, but I bet the tilting is related.

Please excuse my search words.

My new 04 vert is the same way. It happend when my wife didn't position the seat right (I think only left side was latched). After that, it feels like it's leaning one side (right side of the seat is lagging). If you reset the seat by playing around with the recline handle, it might does the trick. Further, becareful with the handle, it is made out of somewhat soft plastic that seems weak. I do this adjustment once in a while to reposition the seat. I'll probably take it in when I get a chance tho.

More than likely, the wire supports for the foam seat cushion are broken in that corner.. there is a matrix of wires that help support the seat cushion.. if you take the seat out of the car... becareful of the door sill.. ( 4 bolts and one harness plug. ) the seat rails are sharp and can easily gouge your door sills.. put down a blanket or fender cover at the sill to protect it.., either some of the wires are broken or the front left adjuster ear is broken..

First Thanks for all the replies. I did have the seat out the bolster and wiring underneath are fine. As for the back adjustment I will have to try that one but I have been playing with that for a while with no luck My 01 didn't feel this way or wasn't as noticeable, thats why I posted. As for the ball bearings not my problem yet, never I hope.
Thanks Again I think over the weekend I will take it out of the car again. Maybe take the seat apart and look at everything real close. Then have it towed to Chevy to have them put it back together
