DIC won't display error codes
After installing a complete new long block, Cam, heads, etc. and an LS1 edit, on the trip home from the tuner my "check engine" light came on as well as "service vehicle soon" on the DIC display. The wierd thing is, when I try the "hold option button-push fuel 4 times" trick, I do not get into the diagnostic system to read the error codes. Would the LS1 edit do anything to my ability to read the codes? Is there any other way to see the codes. The car runs strong, but has intermittent idle problems.
