Finicky little...
ahhh...girl dog.
If you can bear with me for a second I'm sure this post will eventually make sense...
First, I always name my cars. All the cars eventually end up with girls names. I have thought that this car might truly be a guy, (just kind of felt that way) but after today, I know it's a girl...
I put a new set of NGK TR55 plugs, MSD 8.5 wires and a K&N filter on. (gapped the plugs at .58)
The car started fine and idled fine. I took it out and noticed a little miss at about 4000 RPM, so I brought it home and checked the plug wires to see if they were all set, which they were. So I took it out for about a 100 mile cruise because I figures it was the computer trying to learn the new air flow with the K&N. No better, still a miss at 4000 and 3/4 to WOT. So I went and got new NGK TR55's figuring I had a bad plug... Installed, and had the same problem...
Decided I'd try diff. plugs and switched to Bosch platinum +4's. Installed and she purred like a kitten, no more hesitation???
I guess "she" is just a finicky little...well not a boy car.
So what should I name her???
