My 02 quicksilver now looks like an eyeless fish. Friday night, I was coming home from work and gently rearended a truck. The truck's bumper was level with my headlights. He pulled up to move (I saw the opening in traffic he was going to take), so I looked over my left shoulder to find my opening. Seeing one coming, I slowly lifted on the clutch, thinking dude was gone. He wasn't. Lost both head lights and scratched the hood, though not deeply. No damage to the nose or fenders, no internal damage that I can discern. Of course, there was no damage to his car, no police involved. It's at a Chevy dealer that I want an estimate from. If it's close enough to my deductable, I will pay for it myself and keep the cops out of it.
Anything I should looking for? Besides the next vehicle in front of me at an intersection?
I did the same thing about 10 years ago. Not in a Vette though. Weren't you surprized as helll when you made contact. Me too! I feel your pain, I've done your pain.
