I have to ask this question because I know allot of you could help me in my decision!
Recently purchased borla stingers Quad tip! I do not have them installed yet because I want to purchase a set of headers and have the complete exhaust system done at one time. I know the Borla stingers have a little rumble to them but was wondering if adding headers will make my Charlie Five to loud or truck like! Does anyone have any regrets installing headers with any aftermarket exhaust system! I just don't want it sound stupidly loud! If anyone has a sound clip I would appreciate it. I little feedback on SLP headers would be nice too!
I have Corsa Tourings on my ride and when I added the Kooks headers they really came alive. At cruise it's hard to tell the difference, but a WOT the sound gets up there (just about at my limit). As I don't know how loud you like things, and the Borla's are loud to begin with (for my taste), adding headers may make them too loud for you. Don't have a sound clip for you and I don't know a thing about SLP headers. If you plan on other engine mods you may want to consider some Kooks or LGM LTs for your headers needs. Good luck with your choices.

Just had the two tip " stingers " installed Saturday. I had the Corsa touring on the car from the first month of my purchase in 2000. The Borla's are louder and there is a little resonance around 1500 rpms but they are the best install I have made. All I wanted to do over the weekend was drive and listen to the "growl".
