Default PRTs are on!

I just got back from a blast down the road with the B&Bs installed. (Top down, dark out, no streetlights out here in the woods, and 33 degrees out.) Another great big THANK YOU! to Nitro Vette for the free- that's right FREE! B&B PRT's. I just couldn't wait for the X pipe that is on the way from another forum member. (I paid for that though.) It was worth it. These things sound soooo nice. I had the stock exhaust with cutouts but this growls differently. I don't know if this setup might be too loud for long trips yet. Thankfully I have a pit in the garage and the switch can be done in about 1 hour. I plan on using both systems next year. Thanks Steve!

The PRT's are great as far as the sound goes. However, if you have an A4 like I do you will probably get some serious cabin resonance, meaning "drone", between 1500-1800 RPM's. Other than that, I like them. They scream at WOT.

My 03 Z came with the B&B PRT's and Bassani X-pipe. I love how it sounds, the nice thing about a Z or FRC is you can install a trunk partition and kill off most of the exhaust noise. Out on the highway in 5th or 6th my Z is quieter than my 99 coupe with Corsa Indy's and x-pipe.

Great sounding and looking exhaust. Enjoy.

Sharp- I wish I was better on the 'puter. I would post pics. Steve put on dual Ractive oval tips they match the taillights and are about twice the size of the stock tips.
Dave- I have an MN6 and an X pipe is on the way as we speak. hopefully that will subdue any drone.
Johnny- LTs and high flow cats are on the wish list but so is sending twins to college next year. Anyone want to donate more parts?

That's the plan. FedEx says the X pipe will be here Friday. Unfortunately so will at least a few inches of snow. I think my driving year ends Wednesday.
