Default Sport brakes

Are the drilled and slotted sport brakes that some are recommending zinc coated so they dont rust?

I have them and the ceramic pads from GM. Love them both.

They look great, they will show rust when you wash them, but rub off first use.

Great price, great product. You will get rust where the pads wear, no way to stop that since the zinc wears off that area. However, drive a short distance, and the rust is gone.

Great Brakes!!! TIP: If you don't race the car or drive real hard on the street, you may want to consider drilled only, as the slots are designed to shave away a small portion of the pads each time the brakes are applied. I'm using the Sportbrakes drilled/slotted with factory pads on my '99 and they are fantastic - not a whole lot of dust either.
