Went to lunch the other day at a local wing place, a small restaraunt with not a lot of parking, and the parking they do have is pretty tight.
Just as I pull in, I'm right behind a guy in a buick. He pulls into the best parking spot in the lot, right in front on the end of the row. I'm looking around and realizing there is only one spot left, on the side of the restaraunt tight between two other cars.
I'm about to go around, and he pulls out of his spot, around the side and takes the tight spot. I park, hop out and head to the door. As I'm holding the door for a couple, the guy with the buick walks in and says "I figured you'd like that spot more than I would."
Talk about a nice gesture. Never happened before, but very much appreciated.
Yeah!! Buy him a DRINK (make that 2). Couple of weeks ago, I went out drinking with my buddies where only valet parking is allowed. This place is in downtown LA area with overated price tags on drinks (they don't sell by shots, only bottle) where all big spenders hang out with their parents money (if you know what I mean). I drove in to valet being after MBZs, BMWs, lexus..etc of all kinds and its models. The valet parker take my key and parked it right in front of the door after removing S500 from the space. Man, did I liked that while bunch of kids standing around the front door to get in to the place. I ended up tipping big $20...lol.. but it sure was WORTH IT!!
