When I joined the forum I used my name. I guess I really wasn't thinking about using a nick name Maybe I should have, however I have pissed off alot more people who know where to find me than I ever will on this forum .

No harm in putting your first name. As was said - most of us have web sites that have names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses etc. I even have my resume on one of my sites, so why lose sleep over this?
I doubt that many people will give full identifying information. The lure of the Internet and Forums is that people can be sarcastic and nasty way beyond how they would act if in person or if their identities were known.
I've posted the area where I live. I think that's enough. If anyone who is near me wants to say HI then they PM me and I'm happy to get less anonymous. But with so many less than well intentioned people scouring the net for personal info that's about all I am eager to forward.
This is a great forum populated by car-loving good folks. But it is open for anyone to see...
btw.... my aluminum foil hat does block satellite signals
