Air filtering vs. high flow capacity
I have searched through some old threads but have yet to find the question as to how does K&N, Blackwing, Votex etc increase the air flow but more importantly, are you compromising filtering capability? Is there any warranty issues with GM?
Just a thought I have always had but never knew the answer to.

Do a search.
The K&N etc flow more air and filter less.
Some showed that a new fram paper flows the same as a new K&N. But it lets more dirt in. IMO I like FRAM
